Intro First of all I want everyone to know I didn’t buy this laptop. I got it from work and decided, well since I have access to it I may as well review it. I’m really enjoying using this laptop for just about everything and am finding myself looking for a reason to use it, even if I just pull it out and don’t do anything with it. So let’s get into it. What’s in the box The packaging is fairly simple, but very protective. In box was the laptop, power adapter, and a small little warranty info paper. You know, I miss the days when recovery discs were included when you got a new computer. How many of you would pay an extra $5-$10 for some recovery media to be included with a new computer? Build This little guy is sleek. Very thin and solid, with some caveats I suppose. While it does feel very solidly built, it also feels pretty heavy for a 2-in-1, this isn’t something I would want to use 1 handed for an extended period of time. In the same breath I don’t suspect this will get broken to easily. This particular Yoga I’m using was made for business applications so on one side you will find the charge port, which has a rubber cover on the port attached to it that is for the docking station. Reason for comparison So the reason I’m even able to compare these two ‘Business Class’ ultrabooks is because we have a couple extras at work and I will use one of them until they want it back. I won’t be able to use both of them so I do have to give one up eventually. In this comparison I’ll be going over some of the hardware basics (they’re pretty much the same), and looking at sort of a ‘pros & cons’ list to help me pick. Hopefully if you are looking for a Business Class ultrabook this might help make your decision a little easier. Quick Specs For the most part they are both very similar. I’m not gonna get into exact specs but here’s the meat and potatoes. They both have a Core i5 processor, 8GB RAM, 250GB SSD, 12” (roughly) screen.
