Update

So just a quick update for anyone that reads this. I'll be pretty busy the next couple days. I just subscribed to EA Access for the Xbox One, once I get to play with that for a little bit I'll do a little review/overview so be on the lookout for that. I also ordered a pair of Anker Bluetooth earbuds which I will be comparing to my Jaybird's. I didn't do a review on the Jaybird's mainly because there are so many out there but if you would like to see it please let me know. I also ordered the Creative Soundblaster E5 DAC/Amp, once I get some time in with that I'll get a review up. Thank you everyone for reading, and please send me suggestions or anything you think might make my site even a little bit better.

Incase EO Hardshell Roller

Decisions, decisions This is gonna be more of a first impression than an actual review. I just got the thing and haven’t been able to actually use it yet. I had been using a roller that my Mom picked up at a garage sale some time ago. It was functional but very cheap and small. After my last trip (that lasted a week) I knew I needed a bigger suitcase, but it still needed to be small enough to carry on a plane. I looked at I don’t know how many rollers, the Incase caught my eye because it was able to carry my laptop and lay flat so I didn’t need to take my laptop out when I went through security. I figured if nothing else that was the one feature I wanted, really just to make going through security that much easier (and faster). I had to have looked at dozens of carry on rollers, even made a trip to a Samsonite outlet store and some fancy luggage store in an even fancier mall that I had absolutely no business in. We had to get outta there. That’s a different story for a different

OGIO Renegade RSS Backpack

Overview This is a big backpack. That is the first thing I mention because it is big so if you’re looking for something a little smaller or streamlined this is definitely not the backpack for you. But if you’re looking for something that can carry pretty much anything then you’ve come to the right place. I got this backpack for 1 main reason, travel. I had a really nice Swiss Gear backpack that got the job done but there were a few things that I wanted it to have that it didn’t. No bag is perfect and of course OGIO made some compromises which I will get into in better detail. This thing holds a lot I know I said I got this bag for travel but I carry it everyday to and from work. Right now this is what I have in it…HP Elitebook 820 (I compare that laptop to a Lenovo x250 here ), Mophie juice pack, 256GB SSD, cleaning cloths, Bose earbuds, WD 1TB external HDD, Dramamine, micro USB and lightening cables, small stone paper notebook (it’s ok not my favorite paper though), Red Te

Lenovo x250 vs. HP 820

Reason for comparison So the reason I’m even able to compare these two ‘Business Class’ ultrabooks is because we have a couple extras at work and I will use one of them until they want it back. I won’t be able to use both of them so I do have to give one up eventually. In this comparison I’ll be going over some of the hardware basics (they’re pretty much the same), and looking at sort of a ‘pros & cons’ list to help me pick. Hopefully if you are looking for a Business Class ultrabook this might help make your decision a little easier. Quick Specs For the most part they are both very similar. I’m not gonna get into exact specs but here’s the meat and potatoes. They both have a Core i5 processor, 8GB RAM, 250GB SSD, 12” (roughly) screen. Size & Feel The HP is a bit smaller overall but that is fairly negligible. Although the HP is smaller it does actually feel a bit heavier. I like the design of the HP better, the corners and edges are rounded which makes it look sm

Logitech K400r

Reason for purchase I have an Alienware Alpha, which very well may be a review in its own right. I was using a Logitech MK710 keyboard and M705 ‘Marathon Mouse’, which is a great combo but for what I needed it was just a little bulky. I use my Alpha for very light gaming (City Skylines, Southpark, Hacknet), and it is my Plex Media Server. So I didn’t need anything fancy so when I walked passed this keyboard with trackpad for $20 I figured what the hell I may as well give it a shot, what do I have to lose right? Connecting and Use As with pretty much anything Logitech nowdays it was really simple. I plugged in the USB adapter and let Windows do its thing, I don’t think it too much more than about a minute to download and install the drivers. At first I absolutely loved the thing mostly because of its size, I mean this keyboard has virtually no weight to it at all. Now that’s the same reason why I’m not in love with it. The up arrow and shift key are right next to each other, wh

Surface Pro 2

Surface Pro 2 I know the Pro 2 is fairly old and the Surface Book is out. This is a general review of the Surface line in general. I won’t be going over the specs too much, suffice it to say it has the specs to handle just about anything you can throw at it. I wouldn’t use it for very graphic intensive work, but if you aren’t a graphic designer or the sort, this should be able to handle what you got. Laptop When my job said I could use a Surface Pro 2 for an indefinite amount of time I was pretty stoked. I’m a nerd and when anyone says ‘here use this, have fun’ dammit I’m gonna. Right now I’m writing this review on a Lenovo X250, it’s one of those fancy ultrabooks of the 12” variety, sitting in my recliner. I wanted to point out that I’m in my recliner for a reason, this is where I am usually on my computer when I’m at home. I don’t have a desktop so I rely on my laptops for just about everything (yes I said laptops, plural lol). The Surface while it is marketed as a ‘

Shark Navigator Lift-Away Professional Upright

Shark Vacuum Purchase Decision We decided to purchase this vacuum when our Dyson quit on us. I’m not 100% sure which model Dyson we had, all I know is it was a yellow rollerball one. When we bought the Dyson we were very impressed. It actually picked up dirt that our previous vacuum had left behind. We wanted another Dyson but they are so expensive we thought about other options. We couldn’t buy a cheap ‘Walmart’ vacuum because my wife has really long hair and they generally only last us a few months due to her hair getting tangled up in the roller brush. A friend of mine very highly suggested a Shark so after about a week of researching we finally decided on the Shark Navigator Lift-Away Professional Upright . This is my review of said vacuum. ‘Minor assembly required’ My wife had to run to the store so she took the kid and left the Man at home to put together their new vacuum. Unboxing was a fairly easy affair, everything was packaged nicely and there were these strang
